21. THE VISION: MATTHEW 28:8-10 The Vision of Christ


	After watching Christ die such a horrible death on the cross, can you imagine Mary Magdalene's relief and amazement when she sees Christ on the road. With her great faith, she immediately falls to her knees and worships Jesus. There was no doubt in Mary's heart that this is the risen Christ. Note: This is the only painting for which Wallace herself posed as Mary Magdalene. Given her faithfulness and hard work over seventeen years to tell this wonderful story of Christ's life, it is appropriate that she is seen here worshipping at the feet of Jesus. This is the first of four paintings representing the appearances of the risen Christ.
